Click here to tell us about your event and get a copy of our 2025 pricing guide, we’ll be in touch with more information on the estimated pricing, process, next steps and availability.

Once you decide you’d like to move ahead, we’ll send over the contract, deposit invoice and a link to book your bar planning session where we’ll hammer out all the details for your event: choosing the beverages, the experience, the personal touches and more.

Leading up to your event, we’ll keep in regular contact with updates and the on the of, we’ll arrive a couple of hours before the start of your event to set up, get everything ‘just right’ to serve your guests up an unforgettable experience.

We used First Sip for a recent outdoor wedding. Hailey and Drew were responsive and helpful from the start. What we liked was their set up, a beautiful converted horse trailer, which offered up 4 taps, which served anything from beer, to ciders and even Prosecco. The two provided advice as to how much alcohol we may need for our number of guests and helped design signature cocktails for them, also available on tap. I cannot thank the two enough for adding to the character of the wedding and the attentive, speedy service they offered to over 100 guests.

We really enjoyed working with them. We had no idea what we wanted and what to do for our bar, so they sat us down and asked all the right questions to ensure we got what we wanted. This resulted in the perfect assortment of drinks for guests, including 2 signature drinks for the bride and groom, which are still to this day the best drinks we’ve ever tried!! Their recommendations on amounts were perfect resulting in minimal left over, with a wedding full of happy guests. We decided to do an open bar which they completely managed for us, including kegs, shopping list, ice, and filling coolers for non-alcoholic drinks. They definitely had the option to accommodate a toonie bar/paid bar should we have wanted to do that. They asked us what our decor was and crafted a beautiful acrylic sign for our drink options. They are eco-focused, so they supplied biodegradable cups for guest drinks, but made sure to bring some glass cups for our staged signature drink photos. Their trailer is very aesthetic and perfect for events such as weddings, and they really tailor the experience to fit your event. We would definitely recommend working with them if you want a fun and classy bar experience for you and your guests.

Question 1

→Do you provide the alcohol?

Unfortunately due to current liquor laws in British Columbia, we are unable to buy or sell alcohol at your event.

However, we’ll guide you through acquiring a special event permit, create a custom shopping list for your event and even help you sell drinks via a ticket system (we aren’t permitted to handle cash though) to make it as easy peasy as possible for you.

→How do I get started?

Step 1 – Scroll up to check out our packages

Step 2 – Submit the form below or email us at firstsipmobilebar@gmail.com to tell us more about your event, then we’ll get in touch within 2 business days, we can book a 15 min chat to go through any questions before locking down the date.

Step 3 – Then if all sounds good, we’ll make things official with our 50% deposit and contract and then your date will be blocked off and all yours!

→Where do you travel?

We bring the mobile bar to you for free—anywhere in the Greater Victoria area (Victoria, Saanich, Sidney, Langford, Colwood, Esquimalt), but if your event is being hosted outside of those locations, contact us anyway as we have been known to wander a bit further from home for a small travel fee to cover costs.

Question 4

→What do you need in terms of space or power?

The trailer is equipped to hook up to a 120V outlet using an extension cord so we need to be within 100ft of a power outlet.

The trailer needs a 14ft long and 8ft wide flat space to park, we’re able to make some minor adjustments if it’s not totally level. If the ground is soft, we’ll need to come out for an assessment to determine what provisions are necessary to make the trailer level and stable.

A nice thing to have is access to a hose so that we can deal with the cleanup of minor spills etc., though this isn’t necessary
